Doctor's rounds

Although Chase needed to go back on the ventilator since he was having a few too many "Bradys" or bradycardia episodes, his numbers are still looking good. When Chase's heart rate drops below 100 it is called a Brady. Preemies sometimes forget to breathe on their own, he really hasn't needed stimulation and continues to recoup on his own from the episodes. They continued to monitor him since he started on the CPAP and the respiratory therapist said he almost needs a support at a level between the ventilator and the CPAP. Ultimately he was just getting tired out and still needs a little extra help. Everyone is still pleased with his progress, and we got to participate in rounds this morning to get the info from all the docs. We're planning on attending rounds as much as possible and we'll try to share any updates. They keep us in the loop with everything since we of course are his biggest advocates right now!
