Feeling Better

Chase is feeling much better after the roller coaster of a day he had yesterday! He already was kicking and fighting during diaper change, and his color is back to normal. His hematocrit number was back up after the transfusion, and his blood gas and head ultrasound came back normal again. Both times they looked at the spinal fluid everything came back fine, and they will continue to monitor it for the next few days. His chest x-ray although still hazy looks much better than yesterday as well! While we were there this morning he received his second dose of Indocin, and they'll see what PDA looks like on the echocardiogram soon.
